My bet is all the Brie that was evacuated from france in 1940 before paris fell. Its now mature to such a degree that any rupture in the white rind would result in explosive decompression of the cheese interior.

On a more serious note, My brother has played there once at an AMS game and he thought it was a very good site, Probably only suitable for smallish numbers, about 20 per side max which would be perfect for a CIA game. Lots of big hangers so could be good for a secret weapons of the Luftwaffe type scenario or V2 factory or something like that. Time for Kermit to start knocking up a full size Me262

Hmm, I remember discussing such a scenario at the weekend, I can't remember who with though. The site does indeed look interesting and no doubt could be used in a whole variety of games going by those photos. How much would actually be playable though? I assume you can't play inside the big mansion building?

Yeah that was me mate! :slap: how many beers did you have? No you are right, you cant user the house but can use most of the hangars and some of the little bunkers I think.

AMS's web site has pics of whats in use:

http://www.airsoftmilsim.co.uk/

got to Intel and then terrain for a map of the play area and site pics!

That explains alot then! I didn't think I'd had that much but I guess it went straight my head as I hadn't eaten. Shame you can't use the mansion would make a good SF VIP capture/assination game.

Heh, joke if you will, but we *do* have some bits of Me262 at work LOL (mind you, given that part of our current organisation used to be known as the Royal Aircraft Establishment it shouldn't be a surprise)

And regarding whats in the soil yes, its been proved that there is (except, they cant quite remember *exactly* where it is on site) some right nasty stuff down there.

Might make some phonecalls over the next few days, as I know two of the guys on the AMS team.

I've just read down this thread and its been absolute torture, I don't care what it is I have to know why you can't dig? Please tell before I have to start thinking of obscure reasons. Although I have to admit bravo on the previous suggestions, I like them...although I'm not a fan of cheese so no.

Ah good, I thought the cat was out of the bag, the answer being mentioned twice in this thread - still, looks like we got away with it.

Sorry Spiers - it's a 'need to know thing', if you found out we'd have to shoot you. Wait, I did that last weekend. Meh, I'll think of something else....

Fairly sure I took a couple of pot shots at you too, couldn't miss that bright red scarf haha.
Something to do with mustard gas then! Lovely. Think I'll pass on the digging. Where abouts is AMS?

Well, this was a real toughie. After literally seconds of exhaustive seaching through the world interweb library, as I understand it to be called, I managed to track down the highly secretive location of this so-called Bramley. Apparently it's in a place know to locals as Hampshire. Tough to find though. I'm not surprised you were unable to access this information yourself Spiers.

That really was excessively sarcastic haha the incredibly secret place of Bramley is in Hampshire. Naw it's just at the moment, normally when I get access to the internet then its only for a couple of minutes, enough time to check my emails and post and ebay. Not really enough time do that as well. Anyway thanks very much for checking Ste.
